Sharon Heap

Sharon Heap is a self taught artist and ceramicist and creates hand built pieces in both earthenware and stoneware. She makes a variety of sculptures, including pieces suitable for displaying outdoors. She gets inspiration from observing nature and making ceramics using leaf impressions which with the use of oxides and glazes can really bring out the detail and also sculpting animals, particularly birds.
