Peter Wilkin

Peter is an international, award-winning, mixed media artist who uses both digital and conventional methods to create his art, including mobile photography (iPhone and iPad), acrylics, cyanotypes and gilding.

His inspiration usually comes from music, song lyrics or poems. On other occasions a snatched conversation, a moment of insight or perhaps the remnants of a dream will inspire him enough to create a piece of art.

His work has been displayed at galleries throughout Europe, including Le Petite Galerie in Paris, the MIRA Gallery in Porto & the Bartoli Felter gallery in Cagliari. Since 2018 he has been awarded Honourable Mentions every year at the Mobile Photography Awards (MPA) & in 2019 won 1st prize in the Mobile Essay Awards with six prints, together with descriptive text based on the life & songs of Kurt Cobain.
