Mill Bridge Gallery, located in a canal-side building dating back to 1675 and said to be the oldest dwelling in Skipton, exhibits the work of talented local artists.
The ground floor stone-flagged gallery exhibits a variety of artwork and unique sculptural pieces. Upstairs, alongside the 17th century beams, contemporary art in a range of media is showcased. The upstairs space also features work by a local artist in residence. The artist is happy to discuss their artwork, and will be holding workshops. Please check the ‘News’ section of the website.
The canal-side garden displays original sculptural pieces in metal, ceramics and stone.
All work is available to purchase.
Normal opening times:
Thurs – Sat 11am – 4.00pm
Other times by appointment
Mill Bridge does not usually sell work via the internet. We believe that when choosing a piece of artwork it is important to view the work in person. We are happy to make special arrangements for opening at times in addition to our normal hours wherever possible. To arrange such an appointment, email us or call us on 07702309144.
